Choate’s Boats was founded by Jesse Choate, a lifelong lake resident with over 10 years of professional experience in boat care and maintenance working and a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Based in Morris, CT, Choate’s Boats was built on a simple idea: boat ownership should feel like freedom, not another item on your to-do list. Our team handles the towing, fueling, detailing, and tracks general upkeep that boat and jet ski owners don’t have time for—so every trip to the dock starts with a boat that’s ready to go. With hands-on experience on the water and a genuine love for lake life, we treat every vessel we service like it’s our own.
Your Questions, Answered
Do I need to haul my boat out for your detailing service?
No. Our mobile team is equipped to perform full interior details from your dock or lift.
How far in advance should I schedule a gas up?
We recommend the seasonal plan but if you need a one time fill up we need 3 days of notice especially during the peak summer months of July and August
What happens if weather forces a cancellation?
Safety is our first priority. If conditions become unsafe, we will reschedule you to the next safest day (Only occurs if large storms roll in all day)
